John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
God gave Man his one and only son, Jesus Christ. This is an awesome gift and is the ultimate expression of God's love for you! God gives many other blessings but none are as great as this one amazing gift.
Romans 5:5 - "And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us."
The gift of the Holy Spirit is also an assurance of God's great love for all of us. These two gifts alone show how much God loves us and the presence of the Holy Spirit gives firm assurances in your heart.
Hebrews 13:5 - "God has said, 'I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.' "
God will continually shower you with his mercy and guard you with his love all of your life. This provides with a great sense of security. Knowing that the greatest One is looking after you is extremely reassuring! God understands all our weaknesses and struggles and will never condemn you for them.
It can be hard at times to keep loving God. We may stop focusing or we may actively decide that there is a reason for us to stop loving him. However, God never, ever tires of nor gives up on loving you. He does not have the human traits of irritability, bad moods or ill temper. You can securely stand firm in the knowledge that God's love is totally unfailing. He will never turn his back of you.
1 Corinthians 2:9 - "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God prepared for those who love him."
God has so many great plans for you, things which are impossible for you to imagine right now. Just know that God has an unfailing love for you and that he will share his best with you for all eternity.
God hopes for a personal relationship with each person he has created. He will pursue you, not to get something from you, but so that he might give you wondrous gifts: hope, salvation, joy, peace and eternal life. He pursues because he knows how much these gifts could transform your life forever.
