I already have a blog where I keep all my creative work. My life is changing a lot at the moment and there are lots of issues, beliefs and such that I find myself musing for hours over. I've decided that it might be a good idea to write my musings down somewhere. I have no idea where this will go so it will be an adventure, an exciting one I hope.

God's Hands

"Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ." 2 Corinthians 1:21. Many of us have experienced deep confusion at some time in our lives by trying to do something for which God has not anointed us. You thought it was God's will, then discovered that it wasn't. You are not the only one who has done this, many others have too. So how do you ever know that something is truly of God? If you believe God has spoken something to you, then it has a scriptural basis, and you really have peace about it, then move toward it. But if you discover that no matter what you do, nothing works, don't keep forcing something that God is not helping you with, because if there is no anointing, it will never work.

Do your part. Do what you believe is right, follow God's leadership to the best of your ability, then leave the outcome in His hands. This way, you are doing all that you can, but you are not spending your life trying to do what you can't do, which is God's part. "Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when they day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand." Ephesians 6:13. Remember, do all you can then leave the situation in God's hand and go about your life. If He does not do His part, then it is not right, it is not time or it is not for you. However, if God calls you, He opens the doors, He apprehends you, prepares you, provides, gives you favour and makes it happen. And through all this you have to believe in yourself. Believe that God wants you to do what you desire. Trust that He will make it possible because you have the potential and ability. Just make absolutely sure that it is God's will for you and not your own selfish desire. If it is God's will, you will find great joy in it.
